Modern technical solutions
The magnetometric inspection technology is based on a registration
of anomalies of the magnetic field caused by various defects of metal,
stress-deformed states and changes in a metal structure.

Ceaseless data recording

The technology successfully operates the principle of gradiometry, i.e. readings from two three-component sensors located at two points of space are compared with each other. This allows not only measuring the magnetic field of a pipeline, but revealing its shape as well as compensating inhomogeneities of the Earth’s magnetic field.

The principal of devices operating is based on the Villary effect (the magneto-elastic effect) stating that any defect or tension in metal distort the magnetic field of a ferromagnetic object (ex. pipeline).

Our devices register these distortions - magnetic field anomalies from the distance equal up to 10 diameters of the surveyed pipeline diameter.

  • The NCM technology is completely remote, does not require a direct contact with the surveyed object or special adjustments of the devices or the survey object.
  • The express-analysis of the data is carried out on site, this allows immediate identification of the most alarming sections of the pipeline and further planning of timely repairs for pipelines areas having potentially high risk of accidents.
  • Automatic tracing of the object and a digital map of the surveyed sections of the pipeline with GPS coordinates of identified anomalies.
  • Patented software processes collected data in real time and allows evaluating the magnetic field of a surveyed object in a short term
