New patent received!

Engineering Center “Diagnostics” is happy and proud to inform you that a nonstop work of our specialists on the developing of new devices for a noncontact magnetometric inspection of pipelines has been crowned with another success. We have received a new patent for invention No. 2763963 "Device for diagnosing the technical condition of pipelines", priority dated 04/07/2021.
The work on the development of noncontact magnetometric systems has been carried out by our specialists since 2004. A long way has been done from analogue ferroprobes to the most modern digital magnetoresistive sensors. Our new device GeoMag2 is developed on the basis of our new patent. Its fundamental difference from previous versions is that the data is initially collected and primary analyzed with a consideration of corrective amendments. The system of data processing has been also a subject for a significant modernization. Mathematical data processing is implemented using Fourier transforms, wavelet functions and autocorrelation analysis. This significantly increases noise resistance and selectivity, allowing higher reliability of a detection of the magnetic anomalies caused by metal flaws especially on a background of external noises, disturbances and electromagnetic pollution. The data processing methods we use reduce the influence of the human factor, decreasing the value of the personal experience and skills of equipment operators through software methods of results presenting. For the innovative methods of data receiving, storing, displaying and processing, certificates of state registration of computer programs No. 2021616560 and No. 2021612750 were received.
Thus, the new GeoMag2 system for non-contact magnetometric inspection of pipelines, developed and patented by the Engineering Center "Diagnostics", is oriented, first of all, at a work under real field conditions. The system allows receiving of reliable information about the technical condition of facilities and prevention of dangerous incidents that could have a negative impact on the environment, so it can become being part of the ESG system of enterprises.

New direction of work - North!
EC "Diagnostics" took part in the business mission of the St. Petersburg Committee for Arctic Affairs to the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
During an intense business trip, the delegation visited the city of Norilsk and Dudinka town, met with representatives of the Polar Division of PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, JSC Norilskgazprom, LLC Norilsknickelremont, the Administration of the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets municipal district and other representatives of the Taimyr business community. In addition to meetings and presentations, the delegates visited the Skalisty mine, the Nadezhda Metallurgical Plant named after B.I. Kolesnikov and Dudinka Port Authority.
The technology of non-contact magnetometric diagnostics of pipelines presented by the EC Diagnostics aroused keen interest among the Taimyr specialists. We are confident that our innovations will help to solve the most actual challenges of the pipelines in the North: the search for stress-deformed sections, which are so common in the region due to the regular thawing of permafrost

The software allows the operator performing the survey to have constant control over the ongoing inspection, enables putting comments and marks on crucial points of the line "on the go". In underwater surveys "MagDriver" helps to avoid "empty" diving by visualizing magnetograms in real time.
