Non-contact magnetometric
inspection of steel pipelines
Safe, quick, on budget

An integrated non-contact inspection technology is affordable and efficient tool in evaluation of the technical state of unpiggable pipelines, pipelines unsuitable for in-line inspection (ILI) or lines facing high risks in case of ILI application.

The technology is applied for underground and underwater pipelines allowing assessment of the technical state of objects in swift, safe and economical manner.

Inspection of underground objects

The technology of non-contact magnetometric diagnostics of objects (NCM) has been developed to assess the technical condition of underground and aboveground pipelines that are unsuitable for in-line diagnostics (ILI).

Survey using GeoMag2 is carried out from the surface of the earth, without any impact on pipelines operation.

Distance between the device and the pipeline can reach up to 10 TIMES the diameter of the pipeline

Inspection of underwater objects

Non-contact magnetometric technology is likewise successfully applied for underwater pipelines inspection. The device is mounted on an ROV and can be submerged up to 2000 meters depths. Survey data is transferred to the field computer in real time.

The speed of the survey performed by AquaMag2 depends only on ROV specifications and underwater conditions.
